My company has discovered people are actually more productive working from home.  I would imagine it will be 2021 before they reopen our office too. 

I don't doubt it but I wonder how they measure that.

I work with physical products and everything takes longer and it really sucks. I think I'd probably be best like 2-3 days/week in an office/lab and the rest at home.

We had a record sales month for June.

interesting thread.  i think some of the concern about permanent effects from the virus is very slightly overblown (overblown by those that are concerned about it, not by the majority of the country that isn't thinking about it at all).  damage to lungs, heart, etc from sars seemed to mostly clear up within three years, and until there are data that indicate otherwise, that would seem to me to be the best guide for long-term cov2 effects.

however, the cognitive impacts may fall into a different category.

My company just announced optional WFH until 2021 (with max capacity at offices that basically means it's mandatory), guidelines for people who want to relocate, and openly said they're asking all department heads to determine who can WFH permanently

WFH discussed on our weekly covid staff meeting. Prez wants to bring em back. All the managers are team no effin way. Keep em home and keep the productivity up.

I suggested knocking down office walls and expanding warehouse space. That's going to be my process improvement suggestion for the quarter.

With inconsistent data and testing bottlenecks, I've been looking at excess deaths and changes there.

california has no travel restrictions at all that I'm aware of. I tried to find details on US and Mexico travel and we seem more worried about crime
