just think how high it would be without the flu vaccine or enough hospital beds to treat everyone!

It’s almost as if our current hospital capacity is set to serve those with flu at normal rates and this new virus is causing hospital demand to be overwhelmed, thus increasing risk of death from all illness types that require hospitalization, including but not exclusively Covid, and that’s what everyone is concerned about.

Did you guys know that things like liver and kidney transplants are being cancelled because donors will be highly susceptible to Covid since they can’t get a vaccine for it, but none of that matters because people are dying of the flu anyway.

Apparently, while he was waiting for his test results he was exercising in the senate gym (wtf is it open???) and eating lunch with other senators. He is a medical doctor.

the range in outcomes from asymptomatic to dying is pretty interesting.

i mean i guess that range is true of the flu and the cold too, but it seems like there's more people on the poles and less in the center with this virus.

I'd be very surprised if any healthy power plant workers are actually "quarantined" or if there is even a specific plant or this guy has any idea what the eff he's talking about
