It just always seemed inevitable that this would mutate into a typical, highly transmittable but low fatality coronavirus.
I thought the reason to assume lower lethality was just rooted in natural selection. Any mutation of a virus is going to become more prevalent if it doesn’t knock its hosts on their asses.

I'd like to believe that most people aren't dumb enough to blame the country that a virus or mutation originated from anyway, but unfortunately, that isn't true.
