Ideal Popeyes order is definitely bone in spicy chicken + red beans and rice.

Ha I finally go get one the wait was 10 minutes in the drive thru and it either is really average or they made it sloppily. Too much hot sauce made the whole thing taste too salty maybe the regular one would have been better.

That was underwhelming. Maybe I got this at the worst possible time, when they're still expecting crowds but aren't getting them? This place had stacks of packaged sandwiches under a heat lamp.

I tried both the normal and "spicy" one. They were fine but nothing extraordinary. Like 5/10, and I am extremely easy to please with fast food experiments. The spicy was not that different from the non-spicy.

I finally got a spicy chicken this weekend. It was a good sandwich but I wasn't blown away.

I’ve tried every major fast food spicy chicken sandy and Popeyes is by far the best. KFC is second. I get a Popeyes sandy w/ no sides once every two weeks on Tuesday in Salina.

The problem w Popeyes is that it’s very slow and often very busy. Luckily the Salina store is never busy when I pull up.

Sandwich is always crispy, huge chunk of breast meat. The spicy sauce is wonderful.

At peak freshness, you cannot beat Wendy's (add Am. Chz). And you can never beat Chick-Fil-A (add Am. Chz and mayo). Popeye's is never worth the gamble.

CFA and Wendy’s are still top tier for me. I tried Popeye’s offering once and it was inoffensive but I’ve never had the desire to try it again.

I’m mostly in the same boat. Love Popeye’s spicy fried chicken and other offerings, but their sandwich was underwhelming. Chick-fil-a is so consistently good it’s really not debatable for me.

You'd prob like the KFC spicy sando. Try it w/ a Mtn Dew Sweet Lightning (Peach Mtn Dew). Killer combo

Popeyes and chik-fil-a are their own tier. I like Popeyes better because I like their sides better. The waffle fries are an abomination.
