I'd kill to be able to grow a mustache like that.
are karl and karla loading up the '10 Avalon (base package) for a trip over to Lawrence tomorrow? going to pay $10 to park in some rental lawn?
hell naw, karl is parking on free street parking and walking a couple blocks with his padded cushion seat in hand
They gonna out 48 up on us too? D isn’t ready to play at all. Disappointed for the magnitude of this game. This one game is our super bowl for this season.

K-STATE REALITIESThe 2019 Sunflower Showdown made me sad and angry all the same.As a graduate of Louisiana State University, I was sad to see a football team coached by Les Miles play the game so poorly. Was this the same man who led my alma mater to a national championship in 2007?After this game, I came to the depressing conclusion it is time for Miles to retire. Admitting defeat will not diminish anything he accomplished at LSU or Oklahoma State. I doubt Nick Saban would have much success with the current Jayhawk roster. The anger comes from the arrogance of Kansas State fans. That arrogance has existed in Manhattan during most of the past 30 years and has reached new highs in Chris Klieman’s first season as coach. I’m certain a statue of Klieman is in the works to be erected next to LHC Bill Snyder’s.A deeper dive reveals Snyder built his legacy upon dozens of victories over cupcakes. Meanwhile, K-State won very few games that truly mattered, the 2003 Big 12 championship game versus Oklahoma the exception. The arrogance of Kansas State fans over a program that has won two conference championships since 1935 makes Alabama fans seem downright humble.- David Steinle, Russell, Kansas
