help me, i'm about to FINALLY start my freshman year at KSU!

ok i know that this site is filled with a lot of older dudes (and dudettes, hi D GALE LMAO  ) who already go to k-state or old balls who already graduated.

can you seasoned cat vets articulate some pro tips in this thread that will help me become the stud that i want to be on DAY 1 as a KSU CAT?

My advice: have fun, but remember why you're there!  make sure to sit near the front in all of your classes - having a (PROFESSIONAL! lol) relationship with your teachers is huge and goes a long way. 

Besides that, get to know the dudes on your dorm floor.  Some of the best friends you'll make in your life. 

Oh yeah, and remember to wrap up

If you want to win some beer money for the week and you play cards make sure you get involved in a pitch game with the yokel's at haymaker .  Those hayseeds think they're the best at 10 point pitch.  Tell them you want to play 5 or 7 point and make their heads spin.  Always bid one hire and I guarantee you'll have your suds paid for in no time.


If you want something more advanced I suggest pal'ing up with some frat guys.  They always have a spades or hearts game going and don't care if they lose cuz mommy and daddy send them endless cash .  Just get out of there when they start asking you if you're interested in elephant walks...
