It’s absolutely astounding to me that life long pubs find it completely unconscionable to vote D. Like they think casting a vote for a dem automatically makes you a gay trans and also your children will be forced to become trans and gay just like you now are, since this is what you voted for. Pedophiles? Still better than a demon rat. Rapist? Still better than demon rats. People that will destroy your livelihood so that a select few very rich people can get even richer? Still better than a demon rat.

That's how any normal human being should act. R's and certainly MAGA have been conditioned for decades that it doesn't matter what they do, the other side is always worse no matter what. Just look at that poll posted above. Over 40% of Rs would still support DT if it was absolutely proven he was a pedophile!!!! The poll didn't even offer another side like, if he did that and a D punched a puppy and ate it. It was just, is he a pedophile and over 40% said, "yep, that's still better than the imaginary stuff that the other person on the other side of the ticket is supposedly doing".

I think DJT has been the only Republican presidential candidate I haven't voted for. Makes me pretty curious what the next election cycle will look like assuming we get any others.

This is much weirder to me than not voting for "the other side". I don't trust trump as a businessman but would like him to represent me in negotiations as a US citizen. Wtf?  Maybe like the white house, trump org is comprised of lots of people and no one knows if trump is the one screwing people?

Trump the politician is very different from Trump the business person.

I remember several years ago on a trip to the Florida Keys talking to a funny, loud, drunk guy wearing a MAGA hat in the resort pool. He ran a contracting business in Miami and related a few tales of the Trump organization refusing to pay him for several projects and he had to write a lot of stuff off.

He basically said he still votes for the guy but would warn anyone away from doing business with him.
