I’m not a big fan of this Supreme Court, but there is zero reason to think any of them aside from Thomas (MAYBE Alito) are gonna let Maxwell walk for the sake of Trump, and DOJ can’t make the court take the case.

Not a bad deal. Normally I’d say it’s not worth letting a child molester go, but if we had those things we probably wouldn’t have elected one in the first place.
