I'm so out of touch with young people that I'm not sure he'll even be aware of it. Both poe and asmon have a 25-40ish demographic.
Asmongold became famous by literally living in his filth playing WoW in his mother's attic. Like moldy cups of pop and garbage. You can imagine his audience. No one wins in a "fight" between the two and it is hilarious that the world's richest man and shadow president is arguing with some degenerate streamer from a room at Mar-a-Lago.
PoE players are universally laughing at Elon and torn between thinking the game's Terms of Service should be enforced on him as an example (it is against the Terms to pay for an account like he obviously did), and thinking they should leave him alone because he is insane and will go nuclear on the developers if they ban him.
My daughter is slightly amused by it all, but more in a "we are so mumped" way than finding it entertainment. She finds the PoE aspect especially WTF, as you would obviously need to play the game for hundreds, if not thousands, of hours to reach where his character did. Not to mention that if you attempted to trade with his character the in-game chat defaulted to Chinese. It is an extremely odd thing to try and fake, and he specifically outed himself by streaming his attempt at playing the character at a kindergarten level.
