I'll give Trump credit, he could have easily said Iran's actions last night were unacceptable and began full scale bombing while having the full support of his base.  But it appears he's going to accept Iran's attack for what it was, a symbolic gesture with no intent.

Now he's taken out a very important enemy in Soleimani without any harm to the US.  It might be Trump's best moment as president.

Completely agree if the escalation stops here (I'm still very skeptical). Still, Iran no longer limiting their uranium enrichment and the US basically ceding all of our influence to Iran in Iraq is a negative.

Yea, still curious how the US goes about Iraq now, they voted for the US to go, so what is that going to look like?

I would bet they quickly vote for us to stay.  The vacuum of US withdrawal would throw their crap back into the fire.  Also, they like our $$

So the net change from two weeks ago is an Iranian General is dead and Iran announced expediting their Nuclear Program.  Another strange victory lap for the Trumpers but you have to take what you can get with this guy.
