Didn't get "Dumb and Dumber" "There Will Be Blood" or "Running Scared."  It guessed "Fight Club" for all three.

Prisoners was alright, probably could wait for the DVD. It needed more Paul Dano, who is probably the best current actor under the age of 40.

Protip for parents: Don't see this movie. It messed me up pretty bad.

I've heard it falls in the "it's 10x better than the trailor makes it look" category.

This Is 40

Should have been called This Is Terrible.  It was less funny and more depressing than i though it would be.  There was no real plot development but just a bunch of one liners that sort of led to the eventual finish of the movie which by the way was supposed to be a feel-good ending but in reality the characters lives will continue to be as shitty and semi-depressing as the rest of the movie.

I think Gyllenhaal and Jackman overacted the whole time. Also, I wish we still had the spoiler tag so I could talk more about the things that made it ungreat for me.

I think one thing we can both agree on is that if the movie was made somewhere between 1989-1998, it would have starred Harrison Ford in the Jackman role.

I saw it.  Not bad.  I agree on the over acting thing.  Also, could have been shorter.  Also, what was the deal with the plot line that he was kind of a survivalist?  It had no relevance like, ever.

Yeah, I thought there were a couple storylines that really didn't add anything. Just twists thrown in there for the sake of being twists.

Think it was supposed to be how he was always prepared for everything and always told his family that they were safe no matter what and he pretty much dropped the ball.

Watched Kings of Summer.  It was more of a comedy than I was expecting, but I should've been expecting a comedy.  It's a fun little movie.  Some of the jokes fall flat, but definitely worth the hour and a half runtime and the dollar at a redbox.

YES. not perfect. but, ENJOYABLE.

Finally got around to watching Mud.  Love how that one little kid just went around socking everyone in sight.  Wish Michael Shannon had a bigger role.

Probably Mcconaughey's best performance since How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days.
