This Is 40

Should have been called This Is Terrible.  It was less funny and more depressing than i though it would be.  There was no real plot development but just a bunch of one liners that sort of led to the eventual finish of the movie which by the way was supposed to be a feel-good ending but in reality the characters lives will continue to be as shitty and semi-depressing as the rest of the movie.

I saw it.  Not bad.  I agree on the over acting thing.  Also, could have been shorter.  Also, what was the deal with the plot line that he was kind of a survivalist?  It had no relevance like, ever.

Yeah, I thought there were a couple storylines that really didn't add anything. Just twists thrown in there for the sake of being twists.

Think it was supposed to be how he was always prepared for everything and always told his family that they were safe no matter what and he pretty much dropped the ball.
