The Tree of Life is difficult without a knowledge of, or perhaps even a belief in, Christianity.
yeah, i really hated Tree of Life the first time i watched it, then my friend poetwarrior suggested i watch it again with a different frame of mind.  i really enjoyed it the second time.

I hated Tree of Life so much that all the Poet Warriors in the world can't get me to watch it again.

Watched Argo today. Pretty good.

I watched There Will Be Blood the other day. I liked it even more than the first time I saw it.

has anyone seen Red Corner (richard gere)?  it's just ok. or, as rusty would say, mediocre.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

No, but I watched Godzilla vs King Kong one time. I don't remember much about it, but I believe Godzilla won.

Watched "Perks" yesterday. Would definitely recommend it.

I don't normally like movies about high school weirdos and narrations of losers but this movie was very good because the main character is easy to root for.

Thanks emawblast and SabiNation!
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I'm sure I will. Thanks for the tip! Honestly, I've never seen a Godzilla movie I didn't enjoy, other than that steaming pile of crap that starred Matthew Broderick.

No, it was a full length motion picture that came out about 15 years ago.

Margin Call (2011)

I watched this really late at night, it kept me awake, but most of it went over my head. I think it tried a little to hard, but the acting was good and it had a good cast. I didn't really like any of the characters, but I think that was kind of the point. 6/10.

the stud young guy in that movie will always be Spock from the newest Star Trek to me. so in my head, Spock was a stud number cruncher in Margin Call.

I always think of him as the villain in the hit TV show "Heros" with Hayden Panettiere.

Finally got around to Looper.  Pretty great concept, but it fell WAY short.  The writer tried to weave two plots tk's and loopers together and missed a better direction; he could have made the kid/rainmaker and Jeff Daniel's character the same person.
