Uggh.  I watched Ted yesterday.

 :bang:

I told you. I mean seriously why did anybody say this was funny? The only part I lol'd was when he named all those girl names, but even then it was kind of forced because I just needed to laugh because I hadn't laughed yet and it was about halfway through the movie already.

Yeah.  You pretty much nailed it.  I think I let out a small "heh" a couple of other times, but I don't even remember what times they were so clearly they weren't that funny.  Oh well.  I've spent $1.50 on worse things, I think

A Good Day To Die Hard. oscar Willis is definitely in this and he is definitely supposed to be on vacation.

Got around to seeing Glenngary Glen Ross.  Pretty cool.  Fast pace.  Sharp dialogue.

Very different sort of movie though.  Definitely easy to invision envision this on the stage.

Just watched "Perks of Being a Wallflower." About 10 minutes in I realized that I had read this book in high school. It's really good and the actors did a very good job.

Excited to see "Silver Linings Playbook."
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

The Tree of Life

....maybe i wasn't in the right mood for this. dinosaurs? really? seemed like they could have done something decent with the father/son family component. instead they just showed (beautiful) scenery with obscure lines being whispered by the characters. artistic? sure, whatever. but you can't just assemble a playlist of heavy choral music with abstract, confusing images and plot line, drag it on for 2 and a half hours (because it's not legit unless it's unnecessarily long) and expect me to instantly adore it for its uniqueness. i'm sure this will trigger the classic "you're just too dumb to get it" retort. woof.

You definitely need to be in the right mood for it. Also I predict you will think better of it after some time.

The Tree of Life is difficult without a knowledge of, or perhaps even a belief in, Christianity.
