Loved Nosferatu. Entertaining period piece.
i’m sorry but it looks like art house rubbish

I'm not sure what you're referring to. The accents, maybe?

Kramer vs Kramer - 5.5/7 probably would be 6/7 if I didn't have such high expectations for a movie that won 5 Oscars, but it probably would have been 5/7 if I didn't have a kid of my own. Dustin Hoffman is killer.

He Got Game - 3.5/7 I'm not sure they needed a distractingly bad-at-acting Ray Allen so that it looked realistic when he played basketball for less than 5mins of the movie. Also I don't love way Spike Lee uses colors to make certain scenes seem like a fever dream.

Lion King 1 1/2 - 6.6/7 Hot damn this is a great flick, especially if you have The Lion King memorized like yours truly. Very funny with a hint of Mystery Science Theater 3000 vibes.

It's not even the best movie filmed in Marfa, Texas in 2007

The Monkey - 6.5/7 Most fun horror movie since Cabin In The Woods, probably

Manchester By The Sea - 6/7 Sticking to the Boston Bros' movies theme. A scene or two is going to stick with me forever. And I wish Casey Affleck was the lead in big budget movies, he's just so good.

sd you've been repeating yourself a lot on this board lately. Mostly the once in this thread, and a couple different times in the inner monologue thread.

Drugs? Old? Lack of inner monologue? A comedy bit that I'm unaware of?

My god these two Paddington movies got like a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.  I may actually have to watch them.

Paddington 3 was perfectly fine but not the tour de force of Paddington 2.

I watched a few okay movies this weekend.

eXistenZ (4/7) - Jude Law and William Dafoe movie that came out in 1999. A little bit of The Matrix and Inception, but worse than both. Original idea and ahead of its time.
Conclave (4/7) - Not my type of movie but entertaining enough to keep my attention. I saw someone describe it as Succession version of the Vatican and that holds up.
The Gorge (4/7) - The trailer led me to believe this was going to be more of a romance/love story but it ended up being more Sci-Fi, which I was happy about. A crappy sci-fi movie but good enough to not feel bad about watching it.

Yes, these were all 4/7. None were great but they weren't bad enough to regret watching.

I think the Paddington love is a meme or something.  Tried to watch and bleh.  I think it was the accent that drove me nuts.

The first one is pretty good. The second is legitimately great.

I think I might watch conclave to get ready for the new poping process.
