Going to see Inside Out 2 this sunday afternoon. Should be good.

I am intrigued by Twisters as well. Will have to rewatch the first one of course before seeing the new one in theaters.

Inside out 2 was pretty good. Everyone I talked to about the movie said it was overwhelming and trying to fit too much into an hour and a half. But I think it's kind of meant to be overwhelming because the point in which Riley is in her life.

I think Kill Bill is QT's best soundtrack.

IB is one of my favorite movies period.  I don't care for Pulp Fiction.  Not saying it's a bad movie -- a lot of people I respect love it.  But it's just a miss for me.

I watched Napoleon recently.  That movie is kind of all over the place.  Worth watching just for the Napoleonic battle scenes, which are pretty cool.  His story should probably be told in a John Adams style 10-15 hour mini series.

I just want to say that I think Christoph Waltz is my second favorite actor OAT.

Is Inglorious Basterds your favorite role of his?

He's great in everything. IB is obviously a feature role, but I like Westerns, and I think his role in Django was low-key excellent.
You’ve been on a pretty solid and constant westerns binge for a while now. If you could go back in time and live in any age before your own current lifetime, would it be the post civil war American West?

I think I'd fit in better in post-WWII America. Like, maybe I fought in the war (if I were eligible) and came home to boom some babies. Failing that, Ancient Rome, obvs.

Ancient Rome could be great or absolutely terrible, depending on who your parents are.

any time period before AC/Heat and decent enough food/drink were ubiquitous would be awful.

I watched the Happening.  There's no M Night twist.  Early on, some dude is like "it's the trees" and then it's the trees.

Kids first time seeing Ace Ventura? Did they appreciate it for the masterpiece that it is?

watched with my kids and had forgotten the part where he's just hammering away at female lead. absolutely violent dong on vag action. kinda awkward tbh.

This is my fav part of watching old movies with kids. I'm always like, hey this will be fun to watch with them and then there's always one part I had forgotten and will remember 30 seconds before and then everyone is uncomfortable for a bit. Good times

Sorry to pit this up a bit but…My kids were more uncomfortable with the pounding than I was, I was more uncomfortable with the homophobia as the key plot line. We talked a little about art being a reflection of its era and that went well.

It was funny though to see Ace use correct pronouns on Einhorn as Ace called her a man, but we skipped along to the final scene before the “hemmrhoids” line.

My oldest son wants to become a veterinarian so that was what prompted the watch.

I was kind of young when Face/Off came out and I always thought the concept seemed silly and I assumed it sucked. I'm happy to admit that I was wrong and Face/Off rules!
