I introduced Rocky IV to my kids this Christmas because it's a Christmas movie. It's the best Rocky by far. Bearded Rocky lifting up all his friends and family in the wagon as part of the Siberian training montage!  I wish he would have kept the beard for the fight. But maybe it's against the rules?

Order of Rocky's best to worst: 4, 1, 2, gap, 3, big gap, 5, huge gap like one million grand canyons plus one million of that one moon crater that is even deeper than the grand canyon, Rocky Balboa
Cannot argue one single word of this. Perfect post

I see Top Gun: Maverick was robbed of its rightful Best Picture award by some art house trash movie no one likes or cares about. A sad day for the Academy. A travesty.

At least Short Round got the best supporting actor award he was robbed of all those years ago. And Indy was on stage to hug him during the best picture award!

John Wick 4 was good.  I don’t think it was great. I didn’t care for the plot…should have had him just go after “ the table” and gave us 2 hours of elaborate super villain executions.

Tried to watch Cocaine Bear as a pallet cleanser after the loss Saturday. Pretty fun but was just in too bad of a mood to fully enjoy it.

Everything Everywhere All At Once   ..... first half of the movie i was mesmerized by its brilliance. second half dragged (maybe i was just tired). too many dramatic montage sequences where the character has realizations. still a fabulous original experience.

I was tempted to watch it after all the Oscars but I saw a trailer on showtime and it just looks terrible to me

no doubt it deserved best original screenplay, but i'm a little skeptical of the best picture award

i rented it a long while ago and watched approximately 2 minutes of it before turning it off, no exaggeration on my viewing time. just didn’t grab me

Sounds like you mean it shoved you away.  2 minutes isn’t very long. What if I had decided after watching Predator for just 2 minutes that didn’t think it grabbed me and I turned it off? Clams, maybe you should give it a little longer.

2 min is actually a long time, depending what you’re doing

My younger sisters friend said ‘clams walked into his freshman calculus class sat down, the professor started writing equations on the board and not 2 min later got up and walked out. Later found out he tested out and went straight to differential equations.

Sometimes 2 min is all you need

Everything Everywhere All At Once. I tried to go in with an open mind. I know I called it art house trash before watching it but I really wanted to like it. Everything Everywhere All At Once is horrible. It's incredibly dumb, made no sense, was not funny, and did not stir my emotions even the tiniest little bit. I hated it.  I guess a movie that is original, very strange, and incredibly nonsensical might appeal to some, but I need more.
