Blue Chips is on FS1 right now, I watch it every time I see that it's on.
So good.

That Western University fight song is an ear worm, and I love that they used actual players and coaches, the basketball scenes are so good.

I watched that movie in the Hutchinson movie theater the day before Brian Goolsby and Dodge City came from behind and beat us in the substate finals.
 What a fantastic memory. Saw a a pretty relevant question to this on Twitter this week. If you could only choose one to watch for the rest of your life, which would you choose, Blue Chips or The Program?

That's a great question but I'm going with Blue Chips.

Wacky and 7 are either of you old enough to remember the controversy with The Program when it was released and they had to re-release it with the highway scene removed? LOL, dumb boomers thinking us elite Gen Xers would lay in the highway because of a dumb movie. That would never happen today.

Yes, I remember the news reports of kids doing it. I watched it like a billion times on hbo or whatever and it always had that scene.

Really, cool. I don't think I've ever seen a version with that scene. I watched it in the theaters after they removed the scene, haven't seen it on tv in over a decade.

I honestly don’t think I was cognitive to it back then. Now I’m intrigued and want to find it.

We Need to talk about Kevin maybe could have been great (haven't read the book) but kind of felt gross considering the "payoff" that the whole thing was set up for. Tilda was great in it.

Blue City is criminally underrated - Judd Nelson's smoldering intensity is great

Watched I AM MOTHER the other night.  I didn't care for it.  I went to Rotten Tomatoes afterwards to see if critics panned it, but apparently most people loved it.  Who knew!

Enjoyed Borat quite a bit. It somehow managed to shock me and was probably better than the first.

Watched best in show last night with the wife. Still one of the funniest movies of all time. Lots of laughs even after multiple viewings over the years.

It is hard to narrow down a favorite character. Even the stressed out yuppie couple are not “ha ha” funny most of the time but just absolutely nail that demo.

I could watch all those guys just making peanut butter sandwiches in characters of their choice and I'd be overjoyed. Waiting for Guffman was the first one that I saw, so I am still a bit partial to that one.
