It sucked but I laughed incredibly hard 3-4 times.

I couldn't watch the fertility dance, I knew exactly what they were going to do too. It was similar to me in shock value to the Oklahoma City hotel scene in the first movie. The rest of the debutante dance was great though, the daughter getting pissed at her dad.

The synagogue scene was set up, either that or it was so obvious what was going on that was only going to be the result. Either that woman was mic'ed up or they came in with him dressed like that with a camera and sound crew.

The plastic surgery scene, the babysitter, and the quarantine were also all 100% set ups.

Watched Borat and Good Boys on Friday

Borat: 4/7 - Quite a few laughs, probably won’t win any Oscars but that’s okay.

Good Boys: 5/7 - funny, sweet, corny. Quite enjoyable

I had really low expectations for borat, and, with that in mind, i thought it was OK!  Whether the stuff was set up or not, it's more fun to just play along and not think too hard about it.

Moneyball - I had seen this once a while ago. Damn, what a fantastic movie. Well done all around and not sorkin-y at all! 7/7

Speaking of Brad Pitt movies, I saw Fury over the weekend.  Pretty damn good.

Moneyball is really great, despite the fact that it should be a snoozefest. could have used a Sorkin-y explosion from PSH a la Charlie Wilson's War, but we can't have everything.

I actually liked the set up scenes in both movies, I appreciate the writing and improvisation from the actors.

Watched On The Rocks last night.  Not as good as Lost in Translation, but the Sofia Coppola/Bill Murray collab is definitely a winning combo. 5/7

Yesterday - Man I loved his voice for those songs. Pretty great concept for a movie, albeit with an ending that was too cheesy for my taste. 5/7

Peanut Butter Falcon - I really, really loved this. I went into it without any idea what it was about. Because of that, I don't want to give to thorough of a review here. 6/7

Shazam! - I loved it.  It's probably the best DC superhero movie since Batman Begins.  They should put him on the Justice League to balance out all the brooding.

The trial of the Chicago 7 on Netflix is outstanding

Just watched it and I agree. I honestly did not realize Abbie Hoffman was played by Sacha Baron Cohen until after I watched it.

I enjoyed it and posted it in here months ago. It's much better than Across the Universe.

In the Valley of Violence - 4/7

It was a not very good western with Ethan Hawke as the lead, John Travolta as the marshal and Toby Huss was also in this move. I still enjoyed it!

Hubie Halloween. 6/7 on the Sandler adjusted scale. 2/7 if you're not a Sandler fan.

I See You. 5/7. Would watch again. Enjoyed the suspense.

Enola Holmes:
I was looking forward to this one, based on reviews etc. It wasn't unpleasant to watch, but still I can't say I enjoyed it.

Beefed Henry Cavill was the most hilariously miscast sherlock ever. (love him tho)

I watched it and did not like it. The real stuff that happened at that trial was way funnier and more interesting than that retelling.
