Three Billboards. Great characters. Ending was a letdown.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Snatched. No wonder Amy Shumer went into politics. Just awful.

I, Tonya = Very good movie

I also really liked this one. Great acting and creative cinematography. I had no idea the Tonya Harding story was so bizarre and trashy. It felt maybe 15 minutes too long and I wish there was more about Nancy.

Agree on all accounts with your thoughts. I like the fact that it was kind of movie like and kind of documentary like...if that makes any sense?

A couple modern westerns:
The Salvation - Superb. Beautifully shot, wonderful vengeance.

The Homesman - OK. Kind of weird and a bit boring, but kinda good.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I watched The Salvation. It was great. I'm stupid and called it Godless. Godless is a show . The Salvation is must watch.

Wow. I have inadvertently seen both the current front runners for Best Picture. Shape of Water was pretty terrible. Three Billboards was pretty great.

Terror in Beverly Hills  :star: :star: :star: :raccoon: :raccoon: - Vintage Frank Stallone performance as Hack Stone, retired marine tasked with saving the President's kidnapped daughter against his old terrorist nemesis.  Should've spawned a series.  Included with Amazon Prime!

I think its late 80s.  Tonight I may watch Rollerblade Seven starring Frank and Joe Estevez

The Commuter. Fun. Entertaining. Yeah, it's typical Liam Niesson, but I like Liam Niesson.

Paddington 2

This movie really surprised me.  I hadn't seen the first one and was expecting it to be really lame.  Turned out to be a really fun family movie with quite a bit of adult humor mixed in.

There are 6 sequels coming from a movie entitled Rollerblade?

Just watched Three Billboards. Very good movie.

I second this. Very unusual movie, but very entertaining. Mildred is basically Omar from the Wire. Episodic. Seemed almost like watching a really awesome HBO mini-series. I wanted more.

I'll echo these thoughts as well. Very good movie but at the end, I just wanted more.

Roller Blade is a different movie involving rollerblading cultists fighting a premie rat creature or something.

Roller Blade 7 is just referring to the number of people.  Only 3 sequels.

Downsizing: Never good, but I suppose mildly interesting oddity for the first 30 minutes or so. Then just truly terrible. The story was crap and it never seemed to be able to decide if it was parody or earnest.

Christopher Waltz was kinda funny, and I enjoyed the unintentional irony of him saying that all these people claim to be shrinking themselves because they care about the planet, but really they just can't hack it in the real world (an observation that is true of many environmentalists, but likely lost on everyone involved in making this movie).

Again though, main takeaway is that this movie really sucked.

_33, it’s FUN! No political undertones or overtones as far as I could tell.
