i enjoyed the light between oceans, bookdork ms tobias was "meh" about it

hmm, the place beyond the pines is like one of my most favoritest movies and fassbender is p good.  i'll have to try this soon

Looks like we have more questions than answers about Hell or High Water.

My opinion will be formed after this evening.  Gonna take a flier on it.

just watched the trailer and i think i'll be going tonight as well

I definitely enjoyed it. I don't know if it is a must-see in-theater, but good none-the-less. Predictable plot. All I could think while watching is that they got Chris Pine to play Timothy Olyphant as Raylan Givens as Toby Howard. Jeff Bridges is really good at that old man Texas garbled accent.

yeah it was ok.  tried too hard to be "west texas" though.  i didn't like the casting of the thor guy (or maybe it's thor's brother, i can't tell them apart).  i also couldn't tell you any character's name.  they pretty much never used names.  5/7

Ha it was Star Trek guy Chris Pine. But I get the Hemsworth bro mix-up. Yeah I had to google the characters' names earlier when posting.

Did anyone ever see "fault in our stars"? It was really good and based off a true story. Anyways, this week, the couple both finally died from their terminal cancer two days apart from eachother.

Yes, I saw the movie. I also saw the story when the husband died; but hadn't seen that the wife died yet.

Also Fault in Our Stars was a little weird for me because Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort played sister and brother in Divergent (which I had seen first). I still cried though.

Saw TMNT: Out of the Shadows - pretty good, but not as good as the first new one.  So the order right now goes like this:

TMNT (1990 original)
TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze
TMNT (2014 version)
TMNT: Out of the Shadows
TMNT (2007 animated)
TMNT 3: Turtles in Time

Hunt for the Wilderpeople was fun.  A fat kid and grumpy old guy on the run in the New Zealand bush.  Shenanigans ensue.

Cocktail (1988) received an amazing 5% on rotten tomatoes. it was way way way better than that, trust me. i lol'd a few times and it's pretty fun in general, not sure why it got so universally slammed
