Saw Sausage Party.

It is pretty fun and incredibly vulgar. It also doesn't try to be politically correct at all, which isn't a surprise.

Sad thing for me is that the theme / entire movie's key message was anti-religion / made fun of people for having religious beliefs.

As a Christian, that bothered me enough to hurt my enjoyment. If that doesn't bother you, and you don't mind offensive non politically correct humor, you will really enjoy this movie.

I enjoyed it quite a bit but agree the religion bashing was needlessly heavy for what seemed like a pretty light movie.

I definitely want to see this.  The previews looked awesome

I don't know anything about this movie and definitely don't want to google it at work.

Primal Fear (1996)

this is what the 90s are all about guys. lots and lots of CHICAGO COPS and swarms and swarms of reporters around lawyers in oversized trench coats walking into buildings. lots and lots of unnecessary shots of news helicopters to let you know this case is a big deal, and also to let you know that as soon as the case is over the movie is probably going to be over too. other hilarious things: fast forwarding video tape with high pitched scribbling noise! smoking in your office! musical score featuring fast paced gated reverb drum fills! lots of "for chrissakes!" which i forgot about but is definitely a 90s thing! richard gere's knowing smile after being turned down by a smart lawyer lady!

overall pretty good and edward norton smashes his first ever movie role out of the park.

I have a special edition primal fear DVD. It has like a fake blood package thing on the cover.

Love this movie and also saw it in the theater  :th_twocents:

this motion picture I watched in my own house in English with no subtitles.

This week I plan to go see SHIN GODZILLA in a Japanese theater in Japanese with no subtitles. I think that sounds like a fun thing to do.

Some American Movies in J-theaters are dubbed into Japanese with no subtitles and some movies are shown in English with Japanese subtitles.

Angry Birds was ok. I missed a big chunk of it because I was making dinner but the ending was cute.  My kids liked it because there were a lot of pee and poop and butt jokes.  I thought it was funny that Sean Penn voiced the big huge bird that just grunted the whole time lol.

Bad Moms :star: :star: :raccoon: - Had funny moments but a bunch of terrible throwaway jokes too.  Made men out to be evil, idiots, or just good for sex.  Is this how women feel while watching a lot of movies?
