Fox catcher  :frown:
Anyone? I was not expecting that. Also, did they.....?

I thought it was good, Wacky. Always interesting to see an actor like Carrell play a serious role when you're used to seeing him in comedies. I had not heard the story of the Schultz Bros before so the ending was a little surprising, but also kinda predictable.

And for a couple moments in the middle of the movie I wondered the same thing :surprised:

(I don't think they did tho)

The RL Mark Schultz was supper pissed for even suggesting that they did, after the movie came out.
This.

Would you like one thousand sequels, focusing on the individual stories of each tom cruise?

K2: Siren of the Himalayas

Breathtaking. The limits some people are able to push themselves to are almost incomprehensible to me. A beautiful portrait of an alien world here on earth perfectly accented with a parallel historical perspective.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Commando
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088944/
Arnold and the black woman go to town on evil after he rips the seat out of her car.

great movie, that is tommy chong's daughter.  pay special attention during the scene when the 911 is wrecked.  they showed the wrong side being damaged.  :sleuth:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Her & Him were worthwhile. Will not watch Them.

I admire the effort and thought more so than the result. Overall good tone. < most important*

Disappointed in:

Birdman- Too much cussing for him
Gone Girl- Too much lust for him
Foxcatcher- He hates gays
Nightcrawler- Murder is sin
St. Vincent -Never saw it

And especially Boyhood- They question god in the movie

Not:
Whiplash - Dude plays the crap out of those drums

Any motion picture concerned with the stage is bound to fail. A waste of art on sub-art. And you got to give Lubezki some room to work, man.

I judge the morality of motion pictures.

Doing so is part of the three tests of Art.

Nightcrawler was like Gangs of New York for me in that I only enjoyed one actor's perfomance/character, but to an extreme degree.  The plots and movies as a whole were really secondary to my enjoyment.  Inconsequential even.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.
