citizenfour is great, wish it was 8 hours long

It's been on my DVR sitting there but I have to wait for Mrs. Dub to watch it.   :dubious:

Whiplash was an absolute treat. Simmons deserved every best supporting actor vote.

Imitation Game is a great story. Cumberbatch does an incredible job. Knightley is surprisingly good.

Birdman: Different. Do not regret watching.

Nightcrawler. Entertaining but VERY creepy. Maybe too creepy.

John Wick. Keanu Reeves stars in a movie with 83% positive rating on Rottentomatoes. Total waste of time. what is wrong with people? (critics and audience) Only redeeming factor is they were smart enough to not give Keanu Reeves many lines of dialogue.

The Judge. zzzzzzzzzz money-grubbing lawyer/guy from Iron Man's mom dies he goes back and has to represent his father (The Judge) WILL HE REDEEM HIMSELF IN THE END AND EMBRACE HIS SMALL-TOWN ROOTS AND WHY SHOULD I CARE zzzzzzzzzzz

Predestination. Good reviews on Rottentomatoes, has a bit of a "gotcha" twist at the end. Might have made a good 30 or 60 minute twilighty-zone-type tv show
I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps, etc.

2014 Awards:

Worst Performance of the Year: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood

That's all.

Patricia Arquette is to actresses what Keanu Reeves would be to actors but for the matrix and speed

is she always high and whiny, or is that "acting?"
I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps, etc.

Watched Birdman, St Vincent and The Theory of Everything this weekend.

They were all good but I enjoyed St Vincent the most.

Birdman: Different. Do not regret watching.

different than what?

different than any movie that does not begin with michael keaton levitating in mid-air  in his underwear and that seems obsessed with phantom of the opera

The bedroom scene in Lost Highway, the most beautiful body ever captured on film.  I can overlook a lot of crap from Patricia Arquette if I think of that scene.  Lost Highway, BTW, is an awesome movie.

has anyone watched yet?
looks like a pretty good horror movie.  will watch this weekend and report back.

watched, was weird
when i was looking for movies to watch the other night, that one was on all the the lists i usually turn to.

good to know it sucks.

watched it. very good film. its the kind of movie i would refer to as a film. intense creepyness and spookyness and uncomfortable feelings. excellent craftsmanship. would recommend.

This proves my theory that a young Christian Bale would have been the perfect Christian Grey.

Well yeah I'm sure that is why I thought he would be great...but he wasn't really whipping anyone in that, just hacking them to pieces. Not the same thing.
