I really liked the wittiness of the first half of Frank. Once it started to get serious it felt like a good independent film, not great like the first half did.
Bronson has an incredible performance by Hardy. It's almost like an in depth character analysis of The Joker as a real person. You can't take your eyes of him because you never know what's going to happen next, whether it be kill someone or kiss them.
I saw Rain Man for the first time. Probably not fair because my expectations were so high after all the awards it won and was nominated for. But I thought Hoffman's performance was great, very endearing. Tom Cruise was great, not asked to do much. His transition felt a little forced and dramatic. Overall and Oscar-bait film.
Just watched An American Movie for the first time. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's a documentary about some hicks trying to make a movie (or three or four). It's hilarious and fun/sad to know that there are people in the world like that. Mostly fun.
