will this be the first time in history that the sec has ever beat the big 12 in a basketball challenge?

2018. The Big 12 has only won it 4 times.

Actually fell asleep watching the second half of the KU-Vols game. The Jayhawks are as boring as the 2021 Cats.

Very boring. I watched the first 10 minutes of the first half. We were down around 13 points, and I just knew we weren't going to come back, so I switched to video games.

Is this easily the ugliest ku team of all time?  I know that is a very, very high standard to surpass

It doesn't matter much cause we suck so much, but this ku team is also the most pedestrian ku team in probably 30 years. They have at least 4 more losses on the schedule, and could lose 1 or 2 more depending on how the ball bounces.

Any chance they miss the tournament? I would hate it if both Kansas schools' streaks were broken this year.

We're still ranked! (Although in imminent danger of losing our record streak of consecutive weeks ranked in the top 25!)

The WVU loss was Kansas' fifth straight road loss, which is the first time they have lost five games in a row on the road since 1982-83....a time when Larry Brown had just taken over and was gathering the talent for his 1984 final four run with a freshman Danny Manning.  But now, we don't see the Hawks reloading with talent.  They are winning recruiting battles against Creighton and Georgetown, and not against blue bloods and other fashionable programs.

Is this the new normal for the Hawks?

I briefly scanned the Phog yesterday. A lot of them are convinced that they are the new Indiana. Crazy what can happen to a program when they aren't allowed to pay players thousands of dollars to attend anymore.

Yeah. Christian Braun is a nice player but that’s the position that they buy a kid to come in take care of for a year or two.

On the Spracne Scale (SS, mein jungen), which is based on a very scientific, rules-based, quantitative methodology, this team gets a 2 (on a scale of 7) in terms of how much effort I make to actually watch the games that I am aware are happening. Keep in mind that the effort needed to watch a game that I am aware is happening is very low.

No need to explain it to us here.

T-shirt fan? KU paid me good money to obtain a degree there  :nono:

Also, I don't own any KU t-shirts  :gocho:

I'm primarily a UT fan these days, though.
