Feel free to clarify.

Your movement calls 1/6 a coup, there's no need to clarify that anymore.  It's like you mush brains have never seen an actual coup or ever studied one.
*attempted* coup. They tazed their own balls because most MAGA are beta cucks

They were exclusively charged with that because of their attempt to stop a legislative process, specifically the transfer of presidential power.

It was not an attempt to overthrow the government of these United States.

Dax: it’s like you derps don’t even understand what a coup is. All they were doing is trying to prevent the landslide winner of a national election from taking power.

Yes, this is called preventing the execution of a law or legislative process.  Not an attempt to overthrow the government of these United States.  In the vast majority of cases, seditious conspiracy does not rise to the level of treason.  A person attempting to prosecute the overthrow of the entire government of these United States would most certainly be charged with treason.

@Dugout DickStone please link to where you get all of your incel inside info, thanks bud

Dax, how else would you overthrow a democracy other than by interfering with legislative process?

And conspiracy is hard to prove when the crime isn’t successful. They absolutely would have been charged with treason if they succeeded in hanging Pence or whatever else they were talking about.

A singular legislative process is not our entire Democracy.

Killing a singular person does not stop the line of succession.  They would have been charged with murder.

in this instance the singular legislative process was the transfer of power to the rightful winner of a democratic election

i am not sure why i feel it is necessary to type this

That is not overthrowing the entity known as the United States Government.

Not sure why this has to be repeated

What the Oath Keepers et al tried to do is hardly different than what happens in other Banana Republics: the illegitimate ruler holds power by seizing control of the military.

If the legislative transfer of power process was effectively stopped, Trump would have technically still held the title of commander in chief despite being democratically voted out of that role. I’d like to think our generals still would have told him to get effed but that’s not a certainty.

To believe 1/6 was an attempt to overthrow the government, a coup.  Would mean that you believe that there was a realistic path for Don Trump to remain POTUS.

If you believe that, you are 1000% certifiably delusional, and possibly even insane

In your total delusion, you are painting a picture that would have required the participation of tens of thousands of people, and a conspiracy so vast that until a couple of years ago, only existed in the minds of fiction writers.

Again, if anyone actually believes that that there was a realistic path for Trump to remain President, you are a lunatic.
