I agree he has showed exactly the wrong demeanor for a Supreme Court Justice, and I probably wouldn’t support his confirmation at this point for that very reason. That said, if he does get confirmed, only Democrats are going to be calling it a mistake 3-5 years from now.

The republicans wouldn't even call it a mistake this year, considering they have to vote almost unanimously to get him in. I guess Flake and Sasse probably would still call it a mistake after voting for him.

allowing the fbi to interview kavanaugh and blasey-ford might help a bit in determining how much each of them lied. it's very disappointing that they are being placed off limits.

If these restrictions are real, there’s a legitimate gripe to be had with the judiciary committee and WH. But either way everyone should be pissed at their senators for throwing away an opportunity to really dig into the facts when they were both there under oath.

There were two witnesses. The only person asking legitimately probing questions about the events in question to either witness (and not questions designed to elicit false or misleading testimony) was the prosecutor, who was unfortunately pulled during Kav’s testimony.
