Plenty of people have a major issue with him not telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth under oath. Some also think it's pertinent to the assault, saying he lied about it because he doesn't want to admit that he may have done something he doesn't remember.

I think we can do better than Brett Kavanaugh on the bench, he just doesn’t meet the standard. Hopefully a handful of republican senators do the right thing.

He’s an incredibly qualified judge (again currently serving a lifetime appointment to the most prestigious federal appellate court other than SCOTUS) who has apparently been squeaky clean over the past 30 years or so leading up to the confirmation hearing. That’s not exactly something you can take for granted.

His senate confirmation for the appellate court took 3 years because several senators took issue with him lying to them. He doesn’t have a great track record of being honest.
