yeah, my feeling, though, is that although people intellectually know that the surrogate was a creature of the pubs, and carrying out a partisan plan for them, they do not see her as being as partisan as the pub senators. responding to her questions plays more like responding to impartial or even adversarial questions while he gets little to no credit for responding to pub senator questions.

like, i get that pubs are all worked up about what they believe was the dems holding this back and springing it late. and i get that taling that up probably plays well on fox.

but, i really don't think the "too late, the buzzer already sounded." defense is going to mean anything if people believe blasey ford's account. like people that don't think he should still be confirmed even if he did it.

I think Feinstein pulled a shitty move and should probably be held to account for it. That's completely irrelevant to what should happen to Kavanaugh though. I thought it was really offensive in speaking back to Sen Klobuchar the way he did. He apologized but that rage in refusing to answer the question was just terrible.

Ford mistaken. Kavanaugh could not have hunched attacked her is he wasn't in DC.
