I don't have any info a NYC's mayor race, but find it interesting that daxbot has a problem with getting rid of public transportation fare but not with huge tax cuts. 

Also, I bet the housing policy will be fine as long as the new mayor tweets something like: "Developers and landlords better not raise rent!  Not a bit! Sincerely, Mayor of NYC!"  That seems to be the going political standard.

Dax, if you still think that won't work, I guess doing nothing is the best thing since it's working.

The rent freeze is only for rent-stabilized apartments, which has been done many times in the past. (The apartments are also almost entirely 50+ years old). Most units, including new ones will still be market rate.

Viewers of this blog will note that the #blueanon political movement (numbering in the tens of millions) skews anti Judeo Christian, substantial cliques within the movement are hardcore anti-Semitics. They regularly completely lose their crap over the invocation of biblical ideals - even though a growing number of Christians and denominational sects within Judeo Christianity skew very socially liberal, particularly when it comes to LGBTQ. 

What viewers of this blog and the national scene will note is that #blueanon is politically coalescing more and more around politicians who are submitter's (Muslimun) to a hardcore hyper conservative misogynistic oriented religion . . . #blueanon eschews all of their alleged norms and values in their quest for political power.

When challenged on this they'll resort to the usual DerpCon One level "intelligence" by invoking Islamophobia because they're embarrassed and ashamed of the fact that they are selling out their alleged ideals.

US Steel is owned and controlled by a foreign company (who agreed to the golden share thing) so I don't think so.  You could maybe even argue that the U.S. refusing to allow the business deal would have been a greater act of socialism.
