Equating anti-racist outrage to peaceful protest outrage is a pretty bad take, but it makes sense that people who can't see gray area would agree with it.
I don't think they're the same.
My interpretation of the article was that if we're going down this path of "rough ridin' canceled'ing" everything or everyone we deem offensive, we're going to be left with some pretty bland crap - even by network sitcom standards. I thought that was an interesting point.
He also pointed out that saying outrageous racist crap is pretty much in character for 911 truth'r/boston bombing false flag'r/hitler cosplay'r Roseanne Barr. The newest crazy offensive thing she said doesn't really say anything new about her character.
I'm not saying the guy deserves a pulitzer. I'm just saying that the article raised some interesting points.
