I'm good with him, I frequently find myself siding with him when he gets into these random spats with people. He's in the unique and unenviable position of having both black people and white people feeling very comfortable taking racist shots at him. I legitimately wish I could shoot everyone who calls him Martin Luther Cream. I definitely sided with him on the controversy with Deray. I like Deray a lot, but Shaun had his receipts in order, literally and figuratively.

It's real. It doesn't bother me though. It's undoubtedly clunky as hell but there is no method in which he could sell his book that wouldn't leave him open to a lot of criticism. People are under the impression that becoming an advocate also means taking a vow of poverty. Deray's people, who again, I like, have jumped on this without the slightest bit of irony that he doesn't appear publicly without wearing Patagonia.

Well then your definition of shitty should incorporate the president's willingness to change the status quo of how the legislative and executive branches are run. A Biden presidency, at the very least the first two years, will be just as useless as the last 10 years of politics are. The centrists Obama/Biden democrats spent 8 years being obstructed by conservatives. What makes you think Mitch McConnell will want to do anything with Biden? He likes the white guy better than the Kenyan?

I'm pulling this from the Bernie Bro thread. I live in a toss up state and I absolutely won't vote for Biden if he's the nominee. If democrats keep eating the crap they're being fed, the DNC will keep shoving it in their faces. It's far too easy for them to ignore progressives in presidential races. I'm not a never-trumper. I think he's an autocratic buffoon, but the state of liberal politics will continue to be mumped, long after the fat orange clown is dead. There are complaints that Iowa's population isn't representative enough of the rest of the country. Maybe there is some merit to that idea. The 2020 Democratic nominee did finish in fourth place there.
