so we got a 70, 77 and 78 year old left to take on a 73 year old.

every one of them is too old to govern. liz is spry for 70 and bernie's shockingly spry for 78 but still both ancient. meanwhile trump and joe are dementia'ing before our eyes. I trust Joe to surround himself with actual smart/good people I guess, which is the key for any ancient fossil to be successful.

I think you mean he'd surround himself with folks that would maintain the status quo... I'm pretty sure Bloomberg would do that too.

I mean I trust he would surround himself with smart/good people.

yeah all of the candidates would do that

although biden might surround himself with people who like bombing brown people more than the others

Disagree. May want to re-read what you’re responding to berniebrocat.

yeah I know. I already told you what you mean. (and nailed it). because there's nothing that would make you think biden will surround himself with more smart and good people than the others other than their policy positions

Is it possible that Pete and Klo dropping out actually increases the odds of a brokered convention? What of them dropping out helps the Final Four all get above the 15% threshold in more states, and this results in a more even division of delegates? So while throwing their support behind Biden may help blunt the Bern on Tuesday, night it actually encourage Bloomy and Warren to stay in the race longer if they get more delegates as a result?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

So am I just supposed to vote for POS Bloomberg now? I’d vote Biden over Trump in the general but I’d prefer at least one of the candidates not have dementia.

I'm not enthusiastic about any of the candidates anymore. I guess Joe, for entertainment value.

Bernie v. trump was going to be a blast but Biden is a decent second.

Pete was a decent darkhorse because there is literally no way trump doesn't go to gay slams at some point

I meant in office, as in someone I have to listen to for 4 or 8 years. Bernie and Bloomberg would be very boring.

I don't think Trump will debate whoever the nominee is.

I think Trump would debate Bloomberg as a fellow terrible debater and guy who doesn’t need visibility or donors to keep poking Trump in the eye regardless.

Biden committed to only serving 1 term, iirc, so he's not a bad choice.

if their votes scattered, it could have that effect, but i expect voters will perceive the events from 2/29-3/3 as a signal that the race is collapsing to two viable candidates and biden and sanders will both disproportionately benefit from all three of undecided voters, realigning voters and voters leaving weaker candidates still in the race.

my guess is that both warren and especially bloomberg will underperform their pre-south carolina poll numbers tomorrow.
