Not sure what to think about her stuff.

i've followed her for a while and i pay attention to what she says. i would say she's not terribly intellectually honest or rigorous and i think the guy in the article that says her point (negative partisanship) is widely known and accepted is right. that said, she argues for the application more fiercely and more eloquently that pretty much anyone else and it is an extremely important point.

i wouldn't go to her for an accurate or precise attempt to quantify the odds of any individual race, but i think like 99.9% of the population could improve their understanding of how voters behave by listening to her.

I didn't read, but wouldn't her position be that each race is pretty much 100% determined? If so, you wouldn't expect her to give odds. And I'd agree with her on that viewpoint.

Not that the race is determined, but people’s minds are basically made up on who they support (except gE’s own swing voter Dax).

So her theory suggests politicians should be spending 100% of their efforts on getting their supporters to turn out rather than trying to win over new voters. You can certainly still place odds on how successful those efforts will be.

Pete was on Bill Maher's show last Friday and I noticed he dropped several of those while they were talking. There was something mildly annoying about his communication style that I couldn't quite place my finger on but this tweet made the light bulb go off in my head. What a bunch of trite garbage.
