no you don't

In the beginning, HSA administrators verified purchases. That was a while ago, though.

I don’t want to muck up the thread, but this is a passion of mine, so just two points here:

1. If I pay healthcare costs out of pocket now, I can reimburse later down the road and let the (invested) HSA funds grow tax free in the interim.

2. After like age 60 (or something) HSAs basically convert into IRAs.

I think he'd enjoy spending that money a whole lot more now than he would when he's over 65! Old people seem to be more into just sitting around at home, which is very inexpensive. Also, he might die between now and then!

Even outside of just scamming it you can draw on it like any other retirement fund with no penalty when you are old AF.

we've got two sexy ass moderates left.

Biden: Bad because he's old AF.
Pete: Bad because he's inexperienced AF.
Both are bad because they have no real policy positions imo. Joe is at least strapped to his (some anyway) by his years of positioning himself on the issues.

Of the two I guess I'd lean Pete because I'm basically fine with a cabinet of actual smart people mining data to find the best/most well received policies. I'd probably run on that and not pick a policy position as you go because you should be honest with those voting for you that you may change that position soon depending on how the next twitter poll comes out.
Is Cory Booker not moderate?

If he actually makes it to the Iowa caucuses, he'll drop out the day after New Hampshire.

For some reason I thought Booker had already dropped out.

He didn’t qualify for the last debate. In most people’s minds that’s the same as game over.

He's said that he's going to stay in through Iowa. His internal polling here is better than what the other polls are showing and he's hoping for a top 5 finish that he can sell as momentum.

who do you think is donating money to a Booker or Klobuchar campaign? Gabbard/Yang at least has the fringe weirdo money which I can understand. But to just straight back a known loser as a supposedly coherent non-crazy person? what gives?

See my post above about the hope they are peddling, both are still on the "Obama was down big in Iowa too." Klo, like Booker, will likely be gone after New Hampshire. Although Klo might dip earlier if Yang and/or Booker beats her in Iowa.

The Yang Gang are ruining twitter on MAGA levels. Their sole purpose in life is to whine about opinion pieces in the media. I saw one dude accuse NPR of election rigging because one of their writers said Yang doesn't have a path to victory.

that klobuchar fundraising number is pretty legit.  if anyone outside of the top four gets delegates in iowa, it'll be her.  like buttigieg, she has no path past ia and nh, though.  dead end candidates.

also, lol @ sanders destroying warren's fundraising.

Was Klobuchar included in the who is/is not a moderate? As far as I can tell, she is the MOST moderate.

I'd for sure vote for her. I assumed she had a Booker chance and don't consider her in any list similar to Booker.

Klob probably seems the most moderate because there isn’t really anything about her policies that stand out over the other candidates. Pete won the race to the “let’s focus on progressive policies that could be implemented in a first term” ground. She’d probably be one of my favs if she staked out that ground earlier, although there are also plenty of rumors about her being straight up awful to staff which is a tiebreaker for me.

I also like Yang for the same reason I liked Bernie in 2016. He’s got some legit ideas that deserve to have a platform. I don’t see him as an actual presidential candidate though, and people complaining about him getting a fair shake this election cycle are delusional.

There was a story or tweet or something about how she was late for a meeting and it was one of her assistants faults and she made the assistant go into the meeting and say that “Klob will be late because I’m a giant idiot” or something like that. lmao
