To review. In 2008 Clinton and Obama had a primary that was, without question, much more nasty and lasted longer than Clinton/Sanders. In 2008, 28% of Clinton voters “said” they were going to vote for McCain and 15% (according to exit poll data, which is not super reliable) ultimately said they did.

In 2016, 25% of Sanders voters said they were going to vote for Trump and 10-12% did according to exit poll data.

The only difference I can figure is Obama won and Clinton lost. I guess another difference is Clinton and all of her supporters are incapable of placing any blame on Clinton so have tried to scapegoat a long list of people but mostly Bernie. And since Sanders is running again he is the most visible scapegoat, so he must be destroyed.

Feel feee to correct me on what your actual claim is about how Bernie blew it for Hillary.

i mean, it's perfectly reasonable to think that bernie '16 supporters are trash and mumped over clinton and also think that clinton '08 supporters are trash but weren't able to eff over obama despite their best efforts. and it's rational to have different emotional responses to those groups based upon outcome.

fwiw, most '08 clinton/mccain voters are now 'pubs (or dead).
