Good for my homie Klo, that's more than I thought she would have had.

This is the best argument I’ve seen for Pete

You're a moderate right? I'm not at all but I also like this about Pete.
Mostly. Or maybe an extremist with some views on both sides, but that makes me a moderate democrat on the 2-D Trump-Dem ideological line.

same poll in handy tweet form (but you miss out on the user friendly subtabs, although the sample isn't really big enough for subtabs).

weekly morning consult (probably the best national poll) is out.

Is the Biden appeal like 95% Obama-related? I don't see at all how he fits into the vision for the modern Democratic Party.

I've said this before but didn't look up the numbers to back it up. Polls this time in the cycle, historically, have been a horrific indicator of who the nominee will be. The last three elected Democrats have trailed by a lot at this point.

Name recognition. He's the least liberal relevant candidate and he's going to get rocked if he enters and then becomes subject to scrutiny.

yeah, i thing the odds have better than 50% that the nominee won't be biden or sanders.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I don’t think the bulk of the Democratic Party voters are nearly as far left as some of the more vocal members and the (social) media representation.

Well I think you're right but the centrists you are talking about are who the parties are voting for. A lot of those moderate democrats, particularly between Pennsylvania and the Rockies, voted for the Republican because the Democrat was not likeable or relatable. I also think that the current administration has pushed the party left. I don't think fighting the current administration with centrism will energize the base. It's also going to be tough to raise money as a centrist running against a field of liberals. That being said, I don't see the union's endorsing the Bernie wing of candidates. Whomever gets the AFL-CIO to love them as much as they love Joe will have a strong leg up.

I think voting against trump will energize the base no matter who the candidate is. Getting those tweener votes is more important imo.

Yeah, most years I wouldn't even bother with the democrat candidate, but I'll be voting against someone for the first time so they can nominate W and I'd vote for him.

I really hate voting against people but it's what the situation calls for.

Of course my vote doesn't matter at all because for some reason the only national office that's voted on values winning arbitrary geographic areas instead of the country as a whole.

Oh well.

Your state is purple now. Democrat Governor.
