I've learned that I will never get tired of reading threads in the basketball forum filled with posts from folks who want to make sure everyone knows they don't care about basketball anymore.

I've learned that John Currie was not the catalyst for my dislike of KSU hoops over the past few years. Or if he was, the situation is irredeemable now. I just can't root for the basketcats with oscar steering the ship. I made an honest attempt to start over once JC hit the bricks, but I found myself rooting for the other team to win whenever the game would get close. I really just rough ridin' hate the guy and wish he'd never darken the doorstep of Bramlage Coliseum ever again. It's a weird feeling, I've never hated a coach so much that I literally can't root for my squad anymore, but that's for sure what's going on right now.

exact same thing, except i don't hate weber.  i kinda like him, but i still want kstate to lose.

I want them all to die in a plane crash after they fail to win a round of 64 game again

Most posters here are bus chasers at best, but it's heartening they are trying to blow it up except for a few.  Kind of hard to find any Cat glee.

And I've learned something, too. I've learned that a flawless profile, a perfect body, the right clothes, and a great car can get you far in America, almost to the top, but it can't get you everything

is he a kougz sock?

I learned that the good basketball discussion takes place on KSO.

take your insightful hoops commentary there, the net hoops iq of this place will rise by 100+ points

I guess what i’m trying to clue you in on is that you’re a raging rough ridin' downgrade who adds absolutely nothing to the discussion here and despite me telling you this you’re too dumb to recognize it

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Some good thoughts to get this board back on track, clams. Let’s keep brainstorming.

I learned that I don't know very much about coding here on the board . . .

I also came to the conclusion that I can still cheer on the basketball team despite my contempt for oscar. (but my pessimism tells me we won't make it to the first weekend in the tournament)
I'm in it purely for the entertainment value.

Took me a while to figure out Spracne's code...impressive.

I learned that I actually can go an entire season without watching a K-State MBB game. I learned that our new AD is a spineless placeholder who will do nothing to upset the status quo. I learned that our basketball program will be the epitome of mediocrity so long as oscar Weber is here. Finally, I learned that there really is no end in sight.

Nihilism isn't the right tack here. It's way more fun to root for the other team. Sys will give you pointers on how to enjoy this new way of watching K-State basketball if you ask him nicely.

They were cool a few years ago.  Now they are finding themselves on the wrong side of the trend but are going to hang on as long as they can

And if they are really KSU basketball fans, they are missing out on some players that are fun to watch.

Did Wacky just accuse others of trying too hard on a message board? Christ.

Also, lots of complaining that this message board isn't very fun because of all the anti-Bruceites like myself, but I've got to say, we let you get on with cheering for oscar and the Cats without being judgy little c*nts about it. We may disagree with your conclusions, but we don't shame you for them. If you're not careful this place will become GPC. A diversity of opinions is a good thing. What would a message board be without a few dissenters?

Yeah, this isn't true. #LIFE would like Tyler Dreiling and myself dead. Anyone who's pored an ounce of optimism over the years has been called the problem with this fanbase, etc. That's fine if you want to burn it down and all, but to say you haven't watched a single game and still take the effort out of your day to post about it on a K-state message board is funny in all kinds of ways. And by you, i'm not saying you, i'm saying brown poster Purpleoil. Most of the BID'rs have ran to hibernation until this team fails and then they'll be back out in full force.
