Whatever guys, next year the farm bill will include a couple billion in rural white welfare checks so those govt teet sucking farmers can keep on growing beans.

sd dad will sometimes be a soy boy as a side hustle but he’s mostly a wheat weenie, beef butthead, alfalfa ass, and occasional side hustle corn crapbrain.

I offer no feedback to my rural family gathering talks. I just play like they are talking to someone else ...and try and remember the craziest of the claims .

Last time I thought I heard someone ask someone what they got out of their beans price wise but nothing really came of that question.

Even the weirdo Texas culty jesus side of my family hates trump, it's a bit surprising.

Also my mom said a neighbor is mad at her cause my mom said something bad about trump at a cocktail party or something and the neighbor is a huge trumper and got all butthurt and now won't attend any of the neighborhood events. My mom was absolutely shocked to have a trump supporter in her neighborhood, IN CALIFORNIA EVEN.

my mom is a big soy senorita (and corn..uh...lady). I haven't asked her specifically but she also hasn't brought up it either. i'd image the farmer that we sharecrop with is freaking out tho. my mom was also super smart and sold like 60% of her soybeans as futures before the price was decimated tho.

Weird, China agreed to buy 2 million metric tons of U.S. soybeans back in December.   :dunno:

Looks like they just agreed today to buy nearly a million more tons of soybeans  :dunno:

That's a lot less than the 32 tons they bought from the US in 2017.

But I thought the soybean market was  D E A D?

So that's 3 million tons in about 3 weeks.   Pro-Tip, 3 weeks is less than 1 year.

Looks like this board really missed me, damn fellas.  SMDH

Govt shut down means FSA offices are closed as of last Friday so if a farmer has a CCC loan that must be paid before he gets paid the balance... they are SOL.

2019 new crop bean futures are $1.30 off lows from last fall. The poorly highlighted area is June-july when trade war became a factor last summer.

In other news, I can't imagine why the Chinese leadership has become so (distracting-ly) bellicose vis-a-vis geo-strategic military issues.

Almost . . . wag the dogish?
