i say we win on a safety in overtime. that seems impossible, but we'll figure it out.

Not sure why, but this thread reminded me of the Ell Roberson/Seneca Wallace game in '02 where we were both ranked. Pretty sure we won that one by 50. I love having Iowa State's number, but I kinda miss not having to sweat it out every year, even against their "good" teams.

See, isu'rs probably consider this series boring because regardless of how objectively exciting each game may seem to an outsider, they know that every one of them will somehow, someway, end in a loss.  Every time.  Boring.

At least to us, it's funny.

Not boring, painful, actually heartbreaking. This was written before last year's game.

#FarmageddonFacts

-They are up all time 49-47-4 (Maybe we see the real reason Snyder won't retire)
-8th most played game in NCAA history but the longest uninterrupted rivalry in history.
-A win this week would be our 10th straight, tied for the longest with ISU before any of us, maybe not Dax, were alive, and 1993 to the game that ruined the GOAT's senior day.

True.  I guess I was thinking of how a normal person would become numb and bored, and that was my mistake in forgetting who we were talking about.

It's one of the more underrated rivalries imo.

That’s a bold statement, because I would have told you that it was impossible to underrate this rivalry.

If you're not getting pumped, you just have to watch this again. never. gets. old.

A slightly modified version should be played for this game instead of Brooks and Dunn's Stronger than Sticks, stones, and Stilts video.

My 7-year-old plays that game on his iPad.  Had no idea it was so hard core.

Eating dinner at Tallgrass. Flood Aggie wearing bib overalls with sides unbuttoned looks at menu in disgust. "Don't you have any Bud Light?" Fortunately, they do serve shitty beer, hayseed.

Back to my flight of delicious house taps.

I've been following this stat for a few years. They are the closest original Big 8 opponent in terms of W-L's, would be fantastic if we could get the series in Manhattan in 2019.

You have to wonder when they’ll just shut down the program.

I for one will enjoy ISU's newest way to find out how to lose the game to us.

Glad to see this come to fruition, again

Did anyone catch the screens on the sideline to keep ISU (Jake Waters) from stealing  offensive signals today?  Skylar talked about it in post game.

I was in the Sish end zone and saw the white side of those and wondered what they were. Doesn’t surprise me Waters would do something like that.

First time they've ever been used. I can't believe we're using signs so similar that they were necessary, Sky is the 6th different starting QB we've had since he left and the offense doesn't seem similar.
