Is this the Farmageddon to end all Farmageddons?
« on: November 21, 2017, 09:25:38 AM »
Iowa State is and always has been absolute dog crap. This year instead of being a mastiff sized crap they are more of a chocolate lab sized dump but the cats also are not very good this year probably equivalent to a puppy with the runs..  Shaping up to be a great matchup between two turds.

This staff has absolutely no rough ridin' clue how to call plays with a lead. Nothing will be comfortable because of it.

Things will look to all be going the Cyclones' way until the last 2 seconds of the game where they throw it all away.

Not sure why, but this thread reminded me of the Ell Roberson/Seneca Wallace game in '02 where we were both ranked. Pretty sure we won that one by 50. I love having Iowa State's number, but I kinda miss not having to sweat it out every year, even against their "good" teams.

I for one will enjoy ISU's newest way to find out how to lose the game to us.

every year farmageddon is like some unreal 80s movie. The villain (ISU) kicks us when we are down and somehow is always one upping us during the game but by the end the heroes (catz) through unbelievable odds band together to come away with victory.

See, isu'rs probably consider this series boring because regardless of how objectively exciting each game may seem to an outsider, they know that every one of them will somehow, someway, end in a loss.  Every time.  Boring.

At least to us, it's funny.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

That has to taste like peanut butter or hotdogs, right?
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

Prediction: the game is tied with 2 seconds left on the game clock.  ISU has the ball and is set up for a game-winning field goal attempt.  The ball gets hiked over the holder's head, pings off the kicker's facemask sending the ball careening end over end backwards.  The kicker makes a mad dash to secure the ball as the K-State defenders are closing in but can't quite get a handle on the ball, sending it further and further down field....out the back of the opposite endzone for a safety.  KSU wins.

This happened to Alabama in the Iron Bowl a few years back.

It'll probably end the same way they usually end.
