If there’s one thing people from Kansas and Iowa talk a lot about and that’s not taking staycations.

Honey!  Cabela’s or the big ball of twine?

Alabama is not quite as good of a state as North Dakota is. Here are the out-of-state enrollment numbers for proof:

Quote
7. North Dakota State University (Fargo, ND): 65%
8. The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, AL): 63%

Auburn brags about being the in state king with only 40% from out of state and says things like UA had 1100 from California and 1700 from Illinois.

It’s very small timey.

Fargo is essentially in Minnesota and I'm pretty certain Minnesotans get in state tuition. I've already laid out Alabama's out of state appeal. It's mecca for the trashiest of southerners. It's the backup school for kids too stupid for ole piss, miss state, and auburn. It's also essentially west georgia/northwest florida community college.

LA/TN/GA/FL/MS - 6663/20965 out of state at UA in the Fall of 2020.

IL/CA/TX - 4514/20965

NY/NJ/PA - 2300/20965

Alabama is a sack of crap but let's be real, there are worse states
Mississippi
Arkansas
North Dakota
South Dakota
Alaska
Montana
Utah
Idaho
West Virginia
Kentucky and South Carolina are on an equally shitty plane, with Florida close behind. Rhode Island, sneakily crap.
Eff off you cornfield dipshit

I knew your dismissal of my pun was because of this. Would it make you feel better if I acknowledge my assessment of Kentucky was a bit harsh? It definitely doesn't belong on any list associated with Alabama, or South Carolina for that matter.

Charleston, SC and Greenville, SC/Isle of Palms are great, the mountains in the Northwest Corner of the state are beautiful, and the Clemson campus next to Lake Hartwell is fantastic.   The route from that area up to Asheville, NC is beautiful.

Collectively they make a state like Iowa look like a boring AF corn filled cow patty.

   68% of the out-of-state enrollment doesn't even come from those states.

Good grief, just beyond stupid.

Imagine being so triggered that you once again you spew forth a load of bullshit, proving that once again you don't have the first clue and then when you get called on it you tap out as always.

Then claim no one cares about it while responding repeatedly.

Let's face it, people in Alabama certainly don't want an education so of course they'll have high out-of-state numbers.

Looks at UA instate enrollment . . . very close to K-State's total undergraduate enrollment

That drive down from Asheville is one of my favorites. Before the trees grew up, it seemed like you could see the ocean coming down the highway.

I've been to Kentucky twice and liked it both times. Been to Louisville and Lexington, rural Kentucky frightens me.

Was in rural KY last year (well, Maysville, had to get there through the rural parts) and at least in that area, it's some top dollar horse farms getting from Lexington on up. But, I can also totally see taking issue with the true rural (and I'd probably describe it hillbilly) part of the state. There were several, and I mean several guys at the plant who were trumpers lock step, no problem with the wall, having issue with "city people" etc, but then there were also though several times those exact guys would sincerely talk about how goddamn racist "the rural" people were at their kids HS (or who they went to HS with, etc). If that gives any indication of how effed up some of those areas can be, IDK what does. That's next level
