Guys, so there are two pickup sand volleyball leagues that I play in. We haven’t played since early March, because of COVID, tonight was the first night back. It was a lot of fun and much needed. I was fine until about an hour ago...OMFG lol I am like a stick figure walking.

I am going to be SO rough ridin' sore tomorrow. I have played pickup sand volleyball for years. Quarantine has put me even more out of shape. I actually felt fine playing for an hour and half but holy rough ridin' crap after a few hours I feel my age.

This used to not be a big deal. I feel so old right now.

2 weeks ago I made the 3 hour drive to the lake. Next day picked up the boat and drove the boat 2 hours (40 miles) to the house.

Day after that?
Back was completely out. Could barely stand up. For sure feels better but I’m at exactly two weeks and still having stiffness and pain.

So, your back is stiff from driving 5 hours over two days? Or did you have to do something strenuous? No judgement, just wondering.

Usually Quivira Park, but they don’t have the nets up. Last night there were groups at Sar-Ko-Par and Electric Park.

I think a combination of sand volleyball for the first time in 3 months, driving back and forth across the country, doing front/back flips off a boat and being as old as the earth have led to this. I am currently experiencing back spasms and Sciatica like I haven’t had in years. :frown:

I wear a long sleeve water shirt and Panama jack hat in the pool so my thinning skin doesn’t burn and I don’t get skin cancer.

I have to go long sleeve otherwise the sleeves ride up the back of my arms and they burn. For some reason that part of my arm burns really easily. I also just like the feel of the long sleeve better.

When I tweet a picture from my camera roll the it only shows the middle 60% in the tweet scroll. You have to click on the tweet to look at just that tweet to see the whole picture. I don’t know who to fix it so the whole picture shows up when scrolling.

Did you get the Super Extra Freedom edition of the TAC Glasses that can withstand being run over by a Humvee or did you get something lame like Blu Blockers?

My toe nails are getting both thicker & more brittle. They don’t really cut anymore, but crack under the pressure of clippers.
