Today I got a very sarcastic email from one of our Director's about a position that has been open for 2 years before I joined the company last June and I did the reasonable thing and responded calmly without making him look like a complete jackass to the rest of his peers. #Growth

We've had an opening for almost 3 years now and he's tried to blame recruiting since I joined of why it's not being filled. He doesn't want to acknowledge that it's a trash office in the middle of nowhere. Anyways, when he tried to send a group email this morning busting our balls about the language of the AD, I sent him a direct email that showed it was an AD he had written himself and signed off on 6 months ago. I could have simply hit reply all to make him look like a complete jackass, but I went to him directly, instead of dunking on his ass. Maybe he's just having a really bad day, you know?

in general i get v excited when i discover a pocket in an article of clothing that i hadn't previously noticed. Perfect example, went for a run the other day and realized my shorts had a little zipper pocket for a key and i hadn't noticed it before b/c the zipper is right up by the elastic waistband or oriented horizontal instead of vertical. felt like i just won the lottery. been bragging about it pretty much 24/7/365 ever since.

did i worry that when i finished my run i was going to reach into my standard pockets, not feel my key fab and then have a meltdown b/c i thought it fell out of my pocket somewhere on the trail? yes of course i was worried that would happen. and let me tell you, the second you realize "oh yeah...secret pocket" its like that feeling right after you wake up from having a bad dream and realize it wasn't real it was just a dream and you just feel immediately at ease.

I forgot to put meat on my sandwich this morning before heading to work. I even got it out of the fridge and everything. Probably dementia.

Whenever a younger person does something stupid that I distinctly remember doing I subconsciously judge them now.

Full release and new hip is working great.  Now my knee is swollen and hurting after hip therapy.

I would recommend going to a chiropractor to get straightened out.  I did after getting a full release and it seemed to help.

I think I pulled or strained or something a muscle in my back. I have no idea how it happened, but it's very painful.  :frown:

Treated my body like a trashcan for lunch today and had this again. My body is now getting its revenge.

Was doing pullups Wednesday and after I was finished I sat back down to do work, and my god the place where my neck connects to my back just felt horrible (didn't hurt until I sat down). I think I have finally popped everything back into place and I definitely need to improve my technique. But definitely some combo bones out of place + some sort of tendon pain. Just couldn't sleep well. Spent this entire weekend finally catching up on sleep.

Can still do multiples of pull-ups in sets? Get out of here youngster.

Have you tried taking muscle relaxants.  Years ago I would get a kink in my neck and the doc. would prescribe them for me.  Usually take a day, but would do the trick by the next morning.
