Oldest son is admitted and making preparations to attend KSU in the fall.  This makes me feel older than a joint replacement did.

I don't really understand cancel culture and, worse, I don't really want to. Isn't it just boycotting? Wait. Don't tell me.

Holy crap. I recently swept aside our decade plus collection of misc. unmatched storage items for a big nice set of Rubbermaid and it was a pretty incred feeling.

Similarly I threw out all my old basketball socks and got like 10 pairs of identical Nike socks. Makes folding socks a breeze!

if you want to take it to the next level, put your label maker to use on the new containers.

hard to describe how great it feels looking into my pantry and seeing matching food storage containers with my different flours labeled (AP, Bread (R.I.P.), Cake), etc.  Also, I think chips last indefinitely in them.

When I saw the “How many socks do you have?” poll/thread I was going to answer “a drawer full” & didn’t realize what the poll was until I opened the thread.

this feeling is right up there with cleaning out the garage. but like, REALLY cleaning out the garage not just making neater stacks of crap. and then hopefully not needing to slather the tiger balm on my lower back after.

Last night I fell asleep on the couch at 8, woke up at 10 to move to the bed, back asleep by 10:05 & woke up at 6:45 this morning.  Felt great & woke up this morning feeling the best I’ve felt in weeks.

Very few people do, though. Isnt this like a Nigerian insult?
