This must be the most delusional fan base I have ever come across. They haven't won their conference since 1923, and that conference doesn't even exist anymore. This program is a doormat, plain and simple. They have as much chance of beating us this year as Iowa State.

I've looked all up and down the college ranking charts and I can't find a Vanderbilt in Memphis listed anywhere.

Are we sure this is even an accredited academic and NCAA sanctioned University?    What kind of jank jack leg deal did our former AD get us into?

I am usually willing to play nice when opposing fans are as well but that crap over there on their board hit a nerve!.

And also BTW, Vandy is the 15th ranked University in the Nation. So anyone with half a brain knows who Vanderbilt is. What is KSU ranked, like 80th I guess?

Hey guys, Riley Gates a writer from the K-State 247 site, GoPowercat.com. I guess I'm struggling to find the thread on our board where our posters were saying that this would be a beatdown. If I'm wrong, please tell me. But if you are referring to goEMAW.com, this is completely understandable.

As is in every fan base, there are logical K-State fans and there are irrational K-State fans. People at goEMAW are in the irrational side. I have countless examples as to what they have said to make us feel this way, but I just need one to really show their thought process.

When oscar Weber was hired for basketball, they literally stood outside the basketball arena and picketed his hiring. They wanted to hire Doug Gottlieb and thought their protests would make that happen. They just look to cause friction in the K-State fan base.

I don't know much about Vanderbilt other than my brief research I've had a few minutes to do. I know this Vandy team is talented, just as this K-State team is. I think it's going to be a great game. I'll probably pick K-State, but a blowout won't happen, I don't believe. Like I said, please just know that goEMAW doesn't represent the K-State fan base as a whole. I look forward to being in Nashville this week to cover the game!
