Now the people who created 247 have created and/or bailed to on3?

Fitz took his gpc from rivals to 247 because the national stuff it offered was supposed to be a lot better, but now that stuff is with on3, and meanwhile the KSO people dumped rivals and slid into that on3 slot?

That is rough ridin' wild that there are at least 3 different places trying to sell subscriptions to kstate sports fans.

247 is as old as goEMAW, it's just changed form and have had different partnerships along the way.

Fitz's change to 247 was simply a financial one. They wanted to beef up their team sites and offered a better deal. Other than getting a bigger cut of subs, it wasn't a great decision. He could have had the lions share of this business on on3 right now, but now he's second best and doesn't have the means to grow the GPC to be #1 again.

The KSO guys left for on3 because Yahoo continues to not devote resources to rivals and all on3 snapped up all the good national recruiting guys from rivals.

Rivals will stick around but will be a ghost town, certainly for K-State. As much as I like Mason, I'm not paying $100 a year for that. Their renewal rate is going to be atrocious.

Trim, we have a 3maw which is one of the greatest athletic achievements of all time AND are an elite academic institution. Of course the media is going to fawning all over us trying to get our fun coupons.

If Kansas State cared about that demographic they would have done that decades ago.  Everything I've seen from the KSU administration over the past says they don't care at best, and would rather discourage at worst.
