Where are you gonna watch? I'm pretty sure I should be able to view it from my rooftop pool deck.

Wish I could've seen it but was cloudy all day for me, and I was moving, so no chance to get to cloud free areas
Already booked my AirBnB in Fredericksburg for the big one in April!

Is it worth traveling closer to the band worth it or is the show going to be pretty cool in KC area?

Pretty sure I'm directly in the band and just need to head up to my rooftop pool deck. I mean, you're welcome to come.

If you're traveling closer, hotels within the band are expensive AF.  People have been booking about a year out.  Stay somewhere an hour out and then drive into it.

Merge with conspiracy thread?  Got some good stuff rolling out there right now.  Load up off food and water!! :runaway:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

My dad told me that Austin has already declared a state of emergency, and there are roadside signs on I-35 1.) stating that, and 2.) telling people not to pull over on the interstate to watch. Because you just know some numbskulls are going to that. You can't stop stupid.

The forecast keeps changing but it will still be cool. If I hadn't already dropped $1500 on my AirBnB and my mom was coming I would have considered it.

I keep hearing that Vermont is the best chance for clear skies in the totality.

Burlington is going to be absolutely overrun by folks from Boston, NYC and probably even Montreal

Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm in the path of the totality, so either it's awesome or not. Will still be wild, either way.

This was a really cool documentary about what we learned from the eclipse in 2017 and what we are trying to learn from the one on Monday.
