ESPN 30 for 30 presents: The round of 32, a bridge too far
« on: March 17, 2017, 10:35:57 PM »
This needs to be a thing.  Think of the gripping storytelling!  The adversity, the schemes that would not scheme, the personnel changes: I'm tearing grooves in my armrest just thinking about it!

It would behoove the movers and shakers down at ESPN need to lock this down quick before the tech superstars at Netflicks make it into a 10 part documentary, imho.

I was thinking Liam Neeson's slow drawl could really capture the turning knife that was every young person who couldn't tigger up and every schedule maker that lined up back to back teams.  Plus, he could really Irish up this latest dagger being on St. Patrick's Day.  Maybe open  it with a good medley track and some pearls of Irish wisdom e.g. The road to the final 32 rose to meet our plucky wildcats that day, but alas it was not to be because, you know, adversity.

I guess a play in victory is a big deal if you are Southwest Panhandle State.

You're focusing on a shadow that is the eclipse of the sun that is this story.   That play in victory is but the shelf that houses the collection of adversity that this thing could be.  Very serious, this is Emmy winning material (or at least the first rounds or so)
