you're gonna spend a boatload of money on any decent coach.  you might get one bargain year on a budget hire, but you're not gonna retain anyone for under market.

Leaving != getting the deal done. 

For all we know this deal was in the works weeks ago if/when there was a convo about re-working Brad's deal.  Too many variables that we probably wont ever know to make a decision.
As I recall Stoops left us in a much worse spot.  Maybe I'm wrong?

We could have had Brad for a small amount of money if Currie would have just fired oscar last year like he should have.
